Responsible gambling

Long term, gambling means losing money. That arithmetic behind the house edge is what funds everything, and it stays fixed regardless of bonus, filter or strategy; it is not a warning sign. All of the following comes from that.
Decide before you start
Determine your loss threshold ahead of the first deposit rather than mid-way through a losing streak. Unlike one picked while chasing losses, a calmly picked limit actually holds. Treat what you spend as the price of entertainment rather than as an investment that should come back.
The tools in your account
- Deposit limit — caps what you are able to pay in, whether that is measured by day, week or month.
- Loss limit — a cap on how much you can lose overall across a period.
- Session reminder — a pop-up showing your current playing duration.
- Time-out — a self-chosen period during which the account is locked.
- Self-exclusion — bars account access for a longer duration.
Lowering a limit takes effect immediately. Speeding up a limit increase is deliberately avoided, so nobody can wipe it out at the single moment that counts most.
Warning signs
Sooner is better than later for spotting three patterns: spending money earmarked for other things, chasing back losses, and minimising the real time or money involved when talking to others. Taken alone, none of these patterns says a great deal. In combination, the three are telling.
Where to get help
Not one of these organisations is affiliated with us.
- ConnexOntario calls on 1-866-531-2600 are free and private.
- Responsible Gambling Council — independent, not-for-profit, and a source of information for players and families alike.
- Gamban — software that blocks gambling sites across your devices.
About national self-exclusion schemes. A national or regional self-exclusion scheme in your province, where one exists, generally extends to locally licensed operators. Wherever an operator holds its licence, you can still rely on self-exclusion from your own account and on device-level blocking software.
Under-age gambling
We reserve accounts for grown-ups aged 19 and up. If you share a device, use parental control software and keep login details out of reach. Should a minor open an account, it is closed and winnings are voided.
