Jamul Casino Hotel: Tower, Rooms and Suites

The hotel tower opened in August 2025 and gave the property its current name, Jamul Casino Resort. It rises 16 floors, holds 200 rooms including 52 suites and a penthouse, and carries the AAA Four Diamond rating. Every room is a smart room: lights, curtains and climate answer to voice control.

Jamul Casino hotel rooms come in six types:

• Classic King: 420 sq ft, the entry-level room.
• Classic Double Queen: the second classic room type.
• Sunrise Suite: 870 sq ft.
• Sunset Suite and Mountain View Suite: two more suite types.
• Panoramic Suite: 1,140 sq ft, the largest on the list.

Like the casino, the hotel is 21 and over. Among hotels near Jamul Casino, the on-site tower is the closest by definition, with the floor, the pool and the restaurants a lift ride away. Room rates move with the dates, so the resort's own booking system gives the live price.

Rooftop Pool, Spa and Fitness

Jamul Casino rooftop life centres on the Starlite Pool: about 11,000 sq ft of heated water with a hot tub and cabanas. Non-guests can buy a day pass from 40 US dollars. Hours as of 2 November 2026: Sunday to Thursday 9:00 to 19:00, Friday and Saturday 9:00 to 21:00.

Inside the tower are a spa and salon and a fitness centre. Wi-Fi, parking and valet are free, and there are chargers for electric cars.

Restaurants, Buffets and Bars

The resort's About page lists seven restaurants, and a 2025 interview spoke of growing from 7 to 12 restaurants and bars. These are the Jamul Casino restaurants on the resort's menu:

• Prime Cut Steakhouse & Seafood: the Jamul Casino steakhouse, for steak and seafood.
• Emerald Chinese Cuisine: Chinese dining.
• Loft 94: restaurant and one of the live-music stages.
• Jamul Marketplace: four counters: Mexican, pizza, American and The Coffee Shop with Starbucks.
• Jamul 23: in the hotel lobby, home of the buffets.
• Fly Room: the Jamul Casino speakeasy.
• Also: JIVe Lounge, a Juice & Coffee Bar and Tony Gwynn's Sports Pub.

The Jamul Casino buffet runs at Jamul 23, prices and hours as of 2 November 2026: the Lobster Brunch at 59.95 US dollars (Monday to Friday 11:30 to 14:00, Saturday and Sunday 8:00 to 14:00) and VVIP Endless Dining at 79.95 US dollars (Sunday to Thursday 16:00 to 22:00, Friday and Saturday 16:00 to 23:00). The sports pub adds endless dining and a buffet five nights a week.

The Casino Floor: Machines, Table Games and the Poker Room

The resort's website counts more than 1,600 machines and its press releases close to 1,700, from penny slots to 100-dollar machines, plus high-limit slots. Tables number more than 40, and the pit covers Asia Poker, baccarat, Pai Gow, Ultimate Texas Hold'Em, roulette, Free Bet Blackjack, single- and double-deck blackjack and Vegas-style craps with 10x odds.

Non-smokers have their own section between 13:00 and 04:00, and high rollers an Asian-themed room for high-limit tables. On the 16th floor, the Signature Club combines high-limit slots, tables and a bar, open 24 hours.

The Jamul Casino poker room deals cash games every day and runs weekly tournaments with buy-ins from 25 to 90 dollars plus a fee. Drive east from downtown San Diego, take an Uber or Lyft, or ride the weekday MTS 894 bus. Every guest must be 21 or older, hotel included.

Getting There: Address, Airport Route, Bus and Rideshare

The Jamul Casino address is 14145 Campo Road, Jamul, CA 91935. Directions to Jamul Casino by car are simple: SR-94 east from downtown San Diego for about 20 miles, a drive the resort puts at 20 minutes. Parking and valet are free (valet as of 2 November 2026: casino 8:00 to 2:00, hotel 7:00 to 2:00). Vehicles over 7 ft tall cannot enter while construction continues, and RVs cannot stay overnight.

From San Diego International Airport (SAN) it is about 24 miles, roughly 34 minutes without traffic by a route calculation. Sweetwater members arriving by Uber or Lyft can get up to 15 dollars in free slot play for a ride of 10 miles or more by showing the receipt within 4 hours (promotion as of 2 November 2026).

The resort's website lists no Jamul Casino shuttle, so the public option is MTS Rural Route 894 between El Cajon Transit Center and Morena Village: weekdays only, three or four trips each way, with a timepoint at Jamul (AM/PM Mini Mart) on the timetable valid from 1 October 2026.

Age and ID at the Door

The Jamul Casino age limit is 21 for the casino floor, the restaurants and the hotel alike, and children are not admitted.
